Classes have ended for 2024-25. They will start again in August for the 2025-26 season, occurring every Thursday from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Beginners are always welcome. No partners are needed.

When class must be cancelled due to inclement weather or an unforeseeable event, members will be notified by email asap, sometimes late in the day. A cancellation notice will be posted on this website and on our Facebook page.
On Mondays The Tartan and Thistle Ann Arbor Scottish Country Dancers hold classes from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm in the sanctuary at Genesis of Ann Arbor, 2309 Packard Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. For more information visit: Ann Arbor Scottish Country Dancing
COVID-19 Policy: Current protocols do not require COVID screening or proof of vaccination. Masks are optional and we do ask that you refrain from attending if you are feeling unwell. Take care, stay well and follow the guidelines from public health officials.

RSCDS Detroit Branch classes will resume in August 2025. Until then, you can attend summer classes on Monday evenings from 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm with the Tartan & Thistle Scottish Country Dancers of Ann Arbor. Classes are held at The Barn located at 4222 Dexter Townhall Road in Dexter, MI, and there is no cost to dance.

Scottish Session I: July 4-7 and Scottish Session II: July 7-12, 2025
Join us in 2025 in the woods of Plymouth, Massachusetts for Scottish country dancing beneath the tall pines. This year’s theme is “Bugadoon: Celebrating 100 Years of Dancing at Pinewoods”. As the centennial coincides with the emergence for Brood XIV on Cape Cod, our retrospective of a century of dancing under the trees will be focused through the lens of cicada emergence years and celebration of friendly insects. Blue Ridge Scottish Dance School July 6 – 12, 2025
Sponsored by RSCDS Atlanta Branch and RCDS Carolinas Branch, the Blue Ridge Scottish Dance School takes place on the campus of Appalachian State University in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
